Understanding Aircraft–Company–Contact Relationships in the JETNET API

Overview

The JETNET API provides interconnected data across three primary object types: Aircraft, Companies, and Contacts.

  • Aircraft records may be tied to one or more companies and contacts.

  • Company relationships define roles (e.g., owner, operator, broker) in relation to specific aircraft.

  • Contacts are associated with companies.

💡 Note: acid and aircraftid refer to the same aircraft identifier. The field name may differ depending on the endpoint (e.g., acid appears in getCondensedOwnerOperators (as well as in the URL of the aircraft detail page on JETNET Evolution), while aircraftid is used in getCompany and getContact).
