API Field Glossary: Common Aircraft, Company, and Contact Fields

This reference outlines  common key request body fields used for filtering and identifying aircraft, company, and contact data in the system:

  • airframetype
    The type or classification of the aircraft airframe (e.g., Jet, Turboprop, Helicopter). "None" indicates no filter is applied.
  • maketype
    The type or category of the manufacturer (e.g., OEM, aircraft manufacturer). "None" means the type is unspecified.
  • sernbr
    The aircraft's serial number. Used for precise identification of a specific unit.
  • regnbr
    The tail number or registration number of the aircraft (e.g., N12345).
  • regnbrlist
    A list of registration numbers to be included in a batch query.
  • modelid
    The unique identifier associated with the aircraft model. This is a JETNET-specific ID assigned to each aircraft in the database.
  • make
    The name of the aircraft manufacturer (e.g., Cessna, Airbus).
  • forsale
    Indicates whether the aircraft is currently listed for sale.
  • lifecycle
    Represents the current lifecycle stage of the aircraft (e.g., In Production, In Operation, New-With MFR, Retired, In Storage). "None" means no lifecycle filter is applied.
  • basestate
    A list of U.S. state codes (e.g., NY, TX) used to filter the aircraft’s base location.
  • basestatename
    A list of full U.S. state names corresponding to basestate.
  • basecountry
    The name of the country where the aircraft is based.
  • basecountrylist
    A list of countries to filter aircraft by base location.
  • basecode
    FAA ID, IATA, or ICAO airport code representing a base location.
  • actiondate
    The date when the aircraft record was last updated or when a related action occurred.
  • enddate
    An optional end date to define the range for filtering records based on activity or updates.
  • companyid
    The unique identifier of the owning or operating company. This is a JETNET-specific ID assigned to each company in the database.
  • complist
    A list of company IDs for multi-company queries.
  • contactid
    The ID of a contact person associated with an aircraft or company.
  • yearmfr
    The year the aircraft was manufactured.
  • yeardlv
    The year the aircraft was delivered to its first owner.
  • aircraftchanges
    A string flag indicating whether changes to aircraft details (ownership, configuration, etc.) are being tracked. "true" or "false".
  • aclist
    A list of aircraft IDs for filtering or targeting specific units.
  • modlist
    A list of aircraft model IDs.
  • exactmatchreg
    A boolean value. If true, only exact matches of the registration number will be returned in search results.
  • aircraftid
    A list of aircraft identifiers used to directly query individual aircraft records. This is a JETNET-specific ID assigned to each aircraft in the database.
  • bustype
    Refers to the business type or classification of a company (e.g., "Dealer Broker", "Charter Company", "Fixed Base Operator"). Used to filter companies by business role.
  • relationship
    Describes the company’s relationship to an aircraft (e.g., "Owner", "Fractional Owner", "Exclusive Broker").
  • companychanges
    A flag to include companies with recent changes in ownership or business details. May overlap in purpose with aircraftchanges.
  • website
    A string field to filter or search for companies based on associated web addresses (e.g., jetnet.com).
